Eyebrow 101

They say first impressions are crucial and having killer eyebrows can be a game changer! But what if you aren’t the makeup junkie who knows all the how to’s? This step-by-step guide will give you the foundation you need to start building your confidence and brows!

Step 1: Start by outlining the outside of the eyebrows with a shade closest to your natural brow color by using a flat brush (shape as desired).

Step 2: Once you have the shape (your brow outline), fill it in by using feather like motions. For a full or more dramatic brow just go ahead and fill in the entire brow; staying on just the outer corner of the eyebrow.

Step 3:

With your Spoolie begin to blend, making sure you go towards the inner corner of the eyebrows, creating a faded effect on the inner side of the eyebrows. You want to avoid a blocky look, the goal is for your brows to appear as natural as possible.

Bonus: Don’t worry too much about getting messy and coloring outside the lines, you will clean it up with concealer in the following step.

Step 4:

With your flat brush and concealer. You’re going to clean up the brow and cover up any undesired shading you may have done along the process. If you feel like the concealer is too light to clean up your brow you can always use foundation for additional coverage; foundation tends to be a bit darker.

Step 5:

For a 3D look and “added pop” on your brows, use the Benefit Gimme Brow. Gently apply it on just your eyebrow, avoid getting any on your actual skin. Think of it as if you were applying mascara, being extra careful not to get any on your lids.

Bonus: For those that were already blessed with full eyebrows, you can use the gimme brows for a quick brow filler.
